WAMODA JAPANは1953年に
京都の貸衣裳店として創業した
ワタベウェディングから生まれた、
サスティナブルファッションブランドです。
私たちが手がけるのは、
婚礼や特別な日に使用された着物たち。
その一枚一枚には、
家族の想いや祝福の記憶が宿っています。
素敵な思い出が詰まった美しい着物に、
現代の息吹を吹き込み、
新たなアイテムへと生まれ変わらせています。

創業当時の「ワタベ衣裳店」WAMODA JAPAN was founded in 1953 in KYOTO
as a kimono rental
shop.
It is a sustainable fashion brand
born from Watabe Wedding.
We work with kimonos that were once worn
for weddings and
other special occasions.
Each one carries the memories of family hopes,
blessings, and
joyful celebrations.
Breathing new life into these beautiful kimonos
filled with cherished
memories,
we transform them into modern pieces for a new era.
To pass on Japan's beautiful tradition of wearing
happiness to the next generation,

with heartfelt care, stitch by stitch.
QUALITY STANDARDS
ワタベウェディングでは
お客様にご利用頂く着物に
厳しい品質基準を設けています。
品質基準に満たないものは
廃棄処分となり焼却されていました。
廃棄の理由は小さな傷や衿元がすれているなど、
細かいものが大半となります。
それ以外の部分はまだまだ使えるものばかり。
WAMODA JAPANで使用される着物は
廃棄対象となった着物の
きれいな部分だけを使用し、
新たな衣裳へと生まれ変わらせています。

At Watabe Wedding, we apply strict quality
standards to
the kimonos we offer our customers.
Any kimono that does not meet these standards was
previously discarded and incinerated.
Most of the reasons for disposal were minor
—such as small blemishes
or slight wear around the collar—
while the rest of the fabric remained perfectly usable.
At WAMODA JAPAN, we give new life to these kimonos
by using only the beautiful, undamaged portions
and transforming them into entirely new garments.

- アロハシャツのお手入れについて
Care Instructions for Your Aloha Shirt -
アロハシャツはシルク素材ですので、
原則ドライクリーニングをお願いします。
着用後は、速やかに風通しのいい場所で
乾燥させてください。
汗が多く付着した場合はクリーニングをしてください。
雨に濡れた場合も速やかに水気を拭き取り
日陰干ししてください。
シワが気になる場合は必ずあて布をして
裏から中温でアイロンをしてください。Since the Aloha shirt is made of silk,
we recommend dry cleaning as a general rule.
After wearing, please allow it to air out
immediately to dry.
If the shirt becomes heavily soiled with sweat,
please take it for cleaning.
If the item gets wet in the rain, promptly
wipe off the moisture and dry it in the shade.
If you are concerned about wrinkles,
be sure to use a pressing cloth and iron
from the reverse side at a medium temperature.

本体生地と着物生地では素材が違うため、
できればドライクリーニングをお薦めします。
どうしてもご自分で洗濯したい方は下記の点に
ご注意ください。
なお、ご自分で洗濯された場合の責任は当方ではお受けできかねます。- ・ぬるま湯でおしゃれ着用洗剤を使用し
手洗いをしてください。
※着物部分は色落ちする生地もある
ため単独で洗ってください。 - ・洗い完了後、すぐに 軽く脱水してください。
※強く絞らないでください - ・長時間水につけたり、濡れたままや
汗がついたまま放置すると、
他の場所に
移染する恐れもあるのでご注意ください。 - ・直接太陽にはあてず日陰で平干しにしてください。
※乾燥機はかけないでください。 - ・シワが気になる場合はあて布をして
中温で押しあてるようにかけてください。 - ・漂白剤配合洗剤は絶対に使用しないでください。
Because the main fabric and the kimono fabric are made from different materials,
we recommend dry cleaning whenever possible.
If you must wash it yourself,
please pay close attention to the following
instructions.

responsibility for any damage caused
by home washing.- ・Hand-wash in lukewarm water using a
detergent suitable for delicate garments.
※Wash the kimono fabric separately, as some materials may bleed color. - ・After washing, lightly spin-dry immediately.
※Do not wring the garment tightly. - ・Do not soak for a long time or leave the garment
wet or sweaty,
as the color may transfer to
other areas. - ・Dry flat in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight.
※Do not use a tumble dryer. - ・If wrinkles are a concern, use a pressing cloth
and press gently
with a medium-temperature iron. - ・Do not use any detergent containing bleach.
